Cassidy Luna DNP, PPCNP-BC is a native to Lubbock, Texas. Cassidy attended Angelo States University School of Nursing receiving her Associates of Applied Science in Nursing in May of 2008. She continued her education at Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC) graduating Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in May 2010. She then attended graduate school at Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing where she received her Masters of Science in Nursing in the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program, graduating in December 2011. In August of 2014, Cassidy completed her Post Masters through the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program from TTUHSC School of Nursing. Cassidy continued to further her education, earning her Doctorate of Nurse Practice at TTUHSC in 2017.
After graduating from nursing school, Cassidy worked at Baylor Medical Center at Irving and Dallas, working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She also worked as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at University Medical Center (Lubbock, TX). She then transferred roles as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at UMC Physicians at PALS Developmental Center. Here, is where her love for integrative/functional medicine in the practice setting started, seeking to treat patients with behavioral health issues with something more than medicine, the truth. Cassidy is excited to be a part of an organization where she can share the truth with all of the pediatric patient in Lubbock Texas and surrounding areas.
Cassidy is married to Sly, and they have two young boys and a little girl. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, outdoor activities, CrossFit, and cooking.
